Polyethylene Wax (PE Wax)

Polyethylene wax, also known as PE Wax, is an ultra-low molecular weight P.E consisting of ethylene monomer chains.

Polyethylene wax is a synthetic wax from ethylene polymerization featuring low viscosity, high hardness, and a relatively high melting point.

PE wax would be produced through polymerization in high pressure with catalysts that contains oxygen or polymerization in low pressure by using ziegler, natta catalyst or breaking chain away.

Source Produced by polymerizing ethylene gas.
Molecular Weight
Ultra-low molecular weight contributes to its waxy nature.
Properties
Known for low viscosity, high hardness, and high melting point.
Uses
Serves as a lubricant, release agent, and processing aid in coatings
Forms
Available in flakes, granules, lumps, and powder.
Grades
Includes high-density (HDPE), low-density (LDPE), and oxidized PE wax grades.
